GOVERNMENT PLAN TO MAKE OWN BANK FOR OFW'S - SEC. BELLO, SAID

The Philippine Times ] According to Sec. Bello of DOLE, the total collection fund from OFW's is worth 20 billion peso already, and will use this fund to make own bank for Overseas Filipino Worker. The government plan to buy existing bank and later will change the name to OFW Bank.

Sec. Bello, visiting HongKong to talk some labor official and he want to discuss some contract issue to our OFW. Also he drop in at "BAHAY KANLUNGAN" in Hongkong, this house still helping our OFW's who facing abuses and not paying compensation by their employer.

Meanwhile, our government promise also to help OFW to start and operate their own business added by Sec. Bello.
