The Philippine Times ] Former Lawmaker/Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago passes away this morning at 8:52 AM, Thursday.

According to her husband Atty. Jun Santiago, she died while in her sleep this morning in St. Lukes Medical Center at Bonifacio Global City.

Senator Miriam Santiago was born June 15, 1945 in Ilo-ilo City. In 2014,  senator Miriam, announced to the public that she had stage 4 lungs cancer.

She was ran Presidency for 3 times, the first is 1992 but lost to Fidel Ramos, the second time it was 1998 but lost again to Joseph Estrada, and the final it was last May 2016 lost to Rodrigo Duterte.

SMOKING BAN IN THE ENTIRE PHILIPPINES - DU30

The Philippine Times ] President Duterte said last speech in Malacanang to ban smoking in a public places in the entire country. This is also strictly ordinance to be follow.

During election campaign period this is one of the promise of President Duterte to be implemented in the entire country.

In Davao city already implemented the "no smoking policy" in the public, and President Duterte want to entire nation to ban smoking as he promise before.

This reminder is for the smoker only to become responsible in their habit, not to infect other people in a possible disease cause by smoking

The president message it's better also to quit smoking now or else sooner you will be suffer in possible disease.

Smoking is cause of lungs cancer, heart disease, hypertension, etc. If allowing the smoker to smoke in the public places there is a possibility also the non-smoking will catch a disease, Duterte said. 

OPLAN TOKHANG IN TONDO, 7 ARRESTED BY PNP

The Philipine Times ] PNP was operated Oplan Tokhang" in Tondo, Manila yesterday at  6 pm. Base on the report to PNP, the drug trade in the area are begin to operate again. The PNP cannot tolerate this kind of activity thats why they conduct "Oplan Tokhang" in the area once again.

Almost 50 people invited to the covert court some are drinking outside their houses, and other are walking the street without dress. We, remembered our ordinance that do not drink in a public and also wear proper outfit when you go outside your house.

In that operation, PNP arrested one shabu user identified "Antoni Roman" padyak driver in the area, he captured by PNP in the small lane near in the area while the operation is executing. The suspect throwed his sachet of shabu in the dark place but the police unexpected suddenly found it near the suspect. The sachet of shabu is the only evidence confiscated from the suspect and he admit that.

At the same area, another 6 suspect arrested who caught by the Police Officer who actually using of shabu under the bridge. The 7 suspect are in jail already facing the violation of Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs act of the Philippines.

YOUNG LADY, RAPED BY FORMER BOYFRIEND AND 3 OTHERS

The suspect was called the victim to meet her in abandon house at dawn, somewhere in the city, and base to the statement of the suspect the victim, is voluntarily go with him.

But according to the victim, she was raped of his former boyfriend together with his friend. The suspect identified "Joshua Uro 18" (ex-boyfriend) of the victim. The 2 suspect not giving statement and the other one denied the accusation..

The 4 suspect already arrested by Zamboanga City Police and facing raped case againts the victim.

The victim is in the custody of DSWD Zamboanga.

2 MONTHS OLD BABY, RESCUED AFTER FLOG BY HIS DRUG ADDICT MOM

A mother of 2 months old baby arrested by San Mateo, Rizal PNP for child abuse against to her own baby. The community guard (Brgy. Tanod) identified the suspect name "Arlene Gonzales" drug dependent and single parent. The suspect already in jail facing child abuse case, base on the testimony of the witness. The incident was happened last september 16, noontime caught in a video drumming her baby in the face and head, resulting multiple bruise for the 2 months old baby.

The baby already examined by the doctor  and no other injury inside the body. The baby is getting good but the condition still under observation if there is any change, the doctor's added.

The San Mateo, Social Worker office decided to give the custody of the baby to the grandparent, a mother of suspect.

"We cannot locate the father of the baby at this time, but even we saw him we cannot give the baby to him because we heard some news that he is also drug dependent same with the suspect." Social Worker added.

Meanwhile, the grandparent, a mother of suspect, shock the information coming from the neighborhoods on what happen to her own grandchild.

"I can't believe  in this incident to my own daughter and grandchild. Maybe she did this because of his husband. When her husband left, my daughter Arlene, suffered pain, anger and stress, and even become a mother of her own baby she failed to do, and for a while she forgot what is the consequence of her action." Mother of Arlene added. 

CHOPPED BODY OF FILIPINA OFW IN DUBAI, SUSPECT IDENTIFIED - DUBAI POLICE

The body was chopped and cut her head and burried to Al Warqa, some places of Dubai far away in the city. The head and other parts of her body burned by the suspect to hide the identity of the victim, Police added.

2 Men down in Police encounter at Quezon City

"State of Lawlessness" declared by President Duterte after Davao blast

MANILA, Philippines- Mula ng ideklara ni Pangulong Duterte ang "State of Lawlessness or Lawless Violence" last saturday morning ay mahigpit na ngayon ang mga siguridad sa ating mga paliparan, mga bussiness area such as malls, mga public market, churches at iba pang mga matatao na lugar. Makikita natin na maraming mga kapulisan na ipinakalat sa mga posibleng lugar na pwedeng i-attack ng mga kumakalaban sa ating kasalukuyang pamahalaan.

Sanib pwersa ang ating mga kapulisan at sundalo bilang malakasang pwersa para siguraduhin na ligtas ang mamamayan lalo na sa mga matataong lugar na madalas puntahan ng karamihan.

Davao blast was killed 14 people and left 71 injured, and later on Abusayaff  admitted responsible for the bombing incident.

But President Duterte said "Abusayaff is a paying terrorist to sown terrorism, and there is a possibility that this bombing was financed by the Druglord."

Dadag pwersa Militar laban sa Abusayaf kasado na-AFP

MANILA, Philippines-Dahil sa pagsabog sa Davao City last friday na ikinasawi ng labing apat na tao at ikinasugat ng humigit animnapo ay patuloy na pinaigting ng ating Armed Forces of the Philippines at Philippine National Police ang siguridad sa buong bansa. Nagpadala ngayon tatlong infantry batalyon ng sundalo sa Mindanao bilang karagdagang pwersa upang tuluyang wakasan ang kasamaan ng bandidong grupong Abusayaff.

Umani ng negative reactions ang kanyang post sa social media lalo na sa mga naging biktima ng trahedya dito sa Davao.
